Patent trials

Patent trials address disputes involving patents, utility model, designs and trademarks. The dispute involving patent disputes are first handled by the patent tribunal within the Korea Intellectual property Office. In the event of appeal against the decision of the patent tribunal, the patent court takes jurisdiction as the trial court. Appeals from the decisions of the patent court may be made to the Supreme Court.
